I've been a victim of fraud

At Lyst, we are very serious about the online safety of our customers. Fraudsters and cybercriminals have numerous methods of targeting customers, including scams by email or SMS, or messages from fake accounts or websites posing as Lyst.

Here are our top tips to help you stay safe online.

  • Keep your card data safe:
    • Always use websites that are secured with a digital certificate (look for the secure padlock symbol)
    • Check your bank statements on a frequent basis and report any anomalies to your bank
    • Report lost or stolen cards immediately to your bank
    • Do not auto-fill or remember card information or credentials on a shared device
    • Never provide your full card number or screenshots of your bank account through email or live chat
  • Create a strong password on your Lyst account:
    • Strong passwords should be at least 10 characters long and contain a combination of letters, numbers, cases and symbols
  • Save passwords in a secure store on the Cloud 
  • Avoid phishing - Lyst will never contact you to request:
    • Your full credit/ debit card number
    • Your CVV number
    • Your PIN number
    • Your account details
    • Proof of ID or home address
    • User ID
    • Your password
    • Memorable information (e.g. 
    • That you make a payment to Lyst (e.g. via SMS, emails or bank transfer) - Note: the only payments you will ever make on Lyst will be when purchasing products via our Checkout

What to do if you believe you've been a victim of fraud:

  • Report any unauthorised transaction to your banking provider
  • Block or freeze the compromised card.
  • Report any suspicious activity to the relevant link below:
  • Reset your password on any account that might be at risk

Before you report a potential unauthorised transaction on your card, please consider the below:

  • Was the order placed by a friend, family or someone who has access to your payment details?
  • Have you recently cancelled an order or has your order been cancelled? This transaction may be displayed as pending for 5-10 working days
